Dear Mum and Nanny. We shall miss you. Your laughter, your wicked sense of humour, being able to chat about times gone by. The last year has been so difficult especially for you but for us all. We didn't like seeing you unhappy. We hope you are at peace now. Much love and god bless.

Myself and the ladies at Knit and Natter (Marie, Christine, Glynis and Linda) will always remember Barbara for her generous nature. Making us little knitted gifts for Christmas and lots of things for Charities. She was always interested in what we were making. She was such a lovely friendly person, chatting away to us all, and any new member who came along. We especially remember her for her wicked sense of humour and her always smiling and joking, and making us laugh.
I personally will always remember how I was quite nervous when I first joined Knit and Natter and how she took me under her wing, looking out for me and making me feel part of the group, and I doubt I would have taught myself how to crochet if it hadn’t been for her encouragement. Thank you Barbara.
We will all miss her a lot, and will always remember her.
